Mr. Larry Hugh Johnson, 49, died Thursday, October 10, 2013, Kemper County, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 15th, at Macedonia Baptist Church, with Rev. Hubert Yates officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Johnson was born January 9, 1964, in Louisville, MS. He was a hunting guide, and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Alexander Johnson of Louisville, MS; his son, Hugh Johnson of Starkville, MS; his daughter, Paige Johnson of Louisville, MS; his parents. Lou Reed Johnson and Walter Johnson, Sr. of Louisville, MS; his brother, Pete (Deborah) Johnson of Louisville, MS; and his sister, Ann Ricks of Brandon, MS. Pallbearers will be Pete Johnson, Miles Johnson, Scott Schmitt, James Moffitt, Cody Stewart, David Parker, Dylan Morgan, and Peewee Howard. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.
