Darnald Miller

Mr. Balford Darnald Miller, 85, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, at his home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 25th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Walter Simmons officiating. Interment will be in Murphy Creek Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Miller was born September 13, 1927, in Winston County, MS. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a dairy farmer, and a logger for Miller Logging. He was a member of Murphy Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Joanne Bagwell Miller of Louisville; two daughters, Sheila (Albert) Palmieri, and Renee Trosper, both of Louisville; one son, Richard D. (Sue Ellen) Miller of Louisville, 7 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nannie Sue Dawkins and Henry Thomas Miller.
