Roberta Fancher

Mrs. Roberta Underwood Fancher, 88, died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at the Winston County Nursing Home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 9th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Scott Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Fancher was born June 8, 1924, in Carrollton, AL. She was a former salesperson for Libby’s shoes, and worked with her husband at his State Farm Insurance office for 33 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fancher; and her parents, Pearl Irene Hill and Robert W. Underwood, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Gin Fulton of Louisville; two grandchildren, Charlie Williamson and Zachary (Jessica) Fulton; and four great grandchildren, Chelsey and Peyton Williamson, and Eli and Vanessa Fulton.
