Mrs. Minnie Clara Eaves Rogers, 77, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at her daughter’s home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 9th, at Bethel Baptist Church Church, with Rev. David Keen officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the church. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Rogers was born June 28, 1935, in Winston County, MS. She was a teacher for 32 years, first at Neshoba Central, then in the Louisville Public School System, and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Berlin Thomas Rogers; her parents, Tildon and Lillian Eaves; her son, John Thomas Rogers; one great grandchild, Brandon Thomas Rogers; and her brother, Dr. James Doyle Eaves. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Tommy) McKinley, Kathy (Joe) Hodge, and Donna Sinclair, all of Louisville; one brother, Dr. Glen (Ann) Eaves, of Knoxville, TN; one sister, Janice Gee, of Thibodaux, LA; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
