Mr. Roy Ryals, 77, died Thursday, February 14, 2013, at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 16th, at Porter Funeral Home , with Mr. Kevin Ryals and Rev. Phil Messner officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Porter Funeral Home. Mr. Ryals was born September 30, 1935, in Neshoba County, MS. He was retired as an auditor for the Mississippi Farmer’s Cooperative, and was instrumental in building the Co-op. He was former manager of the Winston County Co-op. He was also retired from Equitable Insurance Company. He attended Mississippi State University and was an avid MSU fan. He loved hunting, golf, and nature. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Patricia “Pat” Ryals; his parents, Naomi and Harvey Ryals; and a brother, Torris Ryals. He is survived by two daughters, Deb (Mike) Hardwick of Oxford, MS, and Angie Ryals of Madison, MS; a brother, Howard (Sue Ann) Ryals of Louisville; a sister, Carolyn (Lester) Cummins of Louisville; two grandchildren, Kelsey (Eddie) Malone and Mary Michael Hardwick; and one great grandchild, Branson Malone. Pallbearers are Bobby Ryals, Chris Ryals, Jeremy Cummins, Peyton Ellington, Michael Miller, and Lester Cummins. Memorials may be made to the Bus Fund at First Baptist Church, P. O.
