Mr. James Riley Goodin, 86, died Sunday, December 16, 2012, at Winston County Nursing Home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 19th, at Harmony Baptist Church, with Rev. Jerry Lundy officiating. Interment will be in Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Mr. Goodin was born April 6, 1926, in Winston County. He was a retired as a millwright from Georgia Pacific. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Harmony Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rowena Luke Goodin of Louisville; a son, Ronnie (Kathleen) Goodin of Orlando, FL; two grandchildren, Abigail and Kate Goodin; and two brothers, Bob Goodin and Jack Goodin, both of Louisville. Pallbearers are Chuck Barfoot, Robert Clark, Luke Parks, Gerald Ray Goodin, Robert Goodin, and Billy Moody. Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Men’s Sunday School Class at Harmony Baptist Church.
