Mr. Bennie Wilson Goodin, 75, of Emmett Township died very unexpectedly, Thursday November 29, 2012 at home. He was born November 20, 1937 in Winston, MS the son of the late Wilson and Lizzie Butler Goodin. His marriage to the love of his life, Mary Ella Clark, was November 21, 1955. Bennie had owned and operated Travis Hamburgers of 14 1/2 & Gratiot. He was also known as “Toolman” and “Fatman Tools”. Surviving in addition to his wife, Mary, of 57 years are a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Joe McAdory, son, Bennie Jr. and fiancé Dawn; grandsons, Nathan (Nicky) Smith and Jeremy Goodin, Buffy McAdory, Jody McAdory, Lynn Betz, Delinda Tubby, Katelyn Hirchberger and Jesika Ovstedal, great-grandchildren, Clayton Goodin, Dominic, Kaleb, Lexi, Sky, Draegan, Bronson and Alivia, great-great-grandson, Boston; his buddy, CoCo; four sisters and two brothers and several nieces, nephews and friends that called him dad. He was preceded in death by his grandson Jason McAdory and his brothers Gene and Bruce Goodin. The family honors the memory of Bennie and invite you to visit and share memories Sunday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond,Michigan, and Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Porter Funeral Home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, 12/6, at Porter Funeral Home. Rev. Gerald Butler will officiate. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery, Noxubee County, Mississippi.
