Mrs. Lora Ann Goodin, 80, died Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at her residence in the Nanih Waiya community. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 21st, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Jason Gross, Rev. Mike Ingram, Rev. Bobby Joe Butler, and Rev. Gerald Butler officiating. Interment will be in Good Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Porter Funeral Home. Mrs. Goodin was August 25, 1932, in Winston County, Mississippi. She was a homemaker and a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mattie P. and A. B. Moody; brothers, Cloyse (Thelma) Moody, Forest (Sallie) Moody, Edmond (Mildred) Moody, Bobbie (Jessie) Moody; a sister, Myrrha (Lester) Jarvis; and a brother-in-law, Vance Boyles. She is survived by her husband, Robert C. “Bob” Goodin, Sr. of Louisville; a daughter, Rhonda (James) Hunt of Louisville; a son, Robert C. Goodin, Jr. of Louisville; three grandchildren, Dawn Hunt, Caleb Hunt, and Bridget Hunt; two great grandchildren, Gracie Perkins and Carter Hunt; a sister, Inez Boyles of Louisville; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Caleb Hunt, Ronnie Boyles, Wayne Moody, Woody Moody, John Moody, Gerald Ray Goodin, Chuck Goodin, John Catt, Ellis Houston, Christopher Moody, and Billy Moody.
