Mrs. Mavis “Eileen” Dalbey Nail, 74, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 2nd, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Mason Joy and Rev. Tommy Jones officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Nail was born June 5th, 1938 in Mora, Minnesota. She was a homemaker, and a member of East Louisville Baptist Church. She was a former employee and long-time volunteer at the Winston County Library, and a member of D.A.R. She is survived by her mother, Winnie Obert Dalbey of Newport, Oregon; a daughter, Kathy (Larry Wayne) Tollett of Louisville, Mississippi; two sons, Richard (Melissa) Nail of Terre Haute, Indiana, and Jerry (Sandy) Nail of Starkville, Mississippi; two sisters, Marlys Peasley of Blackduck, Minnesota, and Claudia Peasley of Erhard, Minnesota; one brother, William Dalbey of Toledo, Oregon; and 3 grandchildren, Brandi Tollett, Jacob Nail, and Christopher "Topper" Nail. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. “Jim” Nail, a daughter, Glenda Sue Nail; and her father, Glenn Dalbey.
