Naomi H. Ming

Mrs. Naomi Hamill Ming, 87, died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the Care Center of Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 9th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Grady Crowell and Rev. Walter Simmons officiating. Interment will be in Murphy Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Mrs. Ming was born July 14, 1924, in Louisville, MS. She was a retired repair technician for Spartus Corporation, and was a member of Murphy Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Lucy Hamill; a daughter, Carlene Dickerson; a son, Charles Bevil Ming; and a grandson, Carl Dickerson. She is survived by her husband, Carl Ming of Louisville; a daughter, Rebecca Holland of Hernando, FL; a son-in-law, Robert Dickerson of Louisville; daughter-in-law, Crystal Ming of Bay Town, TX; three grandchildren, Charles Russell Ming, Charlsye Hawks, and Crisanna Ming; and two great grandchildren, Celeste Ming and Jake Tillman.
