Peggy Federick Smith

Peggy Federick Smith (November 24, 1950 - June 25, 2012) Funeral services for Peggy Federick Smith of Louisville and Carthage will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 28 from Porter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Haggard officiating. Interment will be in the Renfroe Baptist Church Cemetery in Leake County. Visitation is Wednesday, June 27, from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Peggy, 61, died June 25 at St Dominic Hospital with her family at her side. She was a homemaker and a full-time wife, mother and grandmother. Peggy was the widow of Kenneth Federick of Leake County and was the wife of William Joe Smith of Louisville. Other than Joe, she leaves to mourn her two daughters Penny Federick Watkins, and her husband, Steven, and their children, Casey and Connor; and Donna Federick Martin, and her husband, Rocky, and their children, Cheslyn, Seth and Kensley; three step-sons, Tim, Marty, and Sam Smith and two step-grandchildren, Tyler and Carmen Smith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Inez Bozeman; and her grandfather, Sim Alford.
