Mrs. Rita Hemphill Hall, 63, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at her home in Noxubee County. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 2nd, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. David Keen officiating. Interment will be in Sardis Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hall was born October 29, 1948, in Louisville, MS. She was beautician and a cashier at Piggly Wiggly for many years. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Reed Hemphill, and a sister, Shirley Pruitt. She is survived by her husband, Donny Hall of Macon, MS; her father, James Hemphill of Macon. MS; one daughter, Tammy Fulton of Macon, MS; three step-daughters, Donna Williams of Oklahoma City, OK, Sherry Akins of Gordo, AL, and Amanda Price of Louisville, MS; one sister, Marlene Lentz of Hazel Park, MI; one brother, Johnny Hemphill of Louisville, MS; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Clyde Palmer, Jerry Hemphill, Jason Hemphill, Danny Marlon Sullivan, James Johnson, and Marty Ray. Memorials may be made to the Palmer Home for Children, P.O.
