Lucille Miles Reed

Mrs. Lucille Miles Reed, 94, died Thursday, April 12, 2012, at her home in Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 14th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Rob Faulk officiating. Interment will be in Harmony Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mrs. Reed was born December 24, 1917, in Winston County. She was a homemaker and a member of South Louisville Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Woodrow (Elisa) Reed of Philadelphia, MS, and Mike Reed of Louisville, MS; one daughter, Mary Conn of Columbus, MS; one sister, Eddie Mae Livingston of Louisville, MS; 27 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clint Reed; her parents, Lofford Miles and Martha Gregory; and 5 sons, Ronnie Reed, Frank Reed, Terry Reed, Jerry Reed, and Henry Watkins Jr. Pallbearers will be Mark Reed, Jason Reed, Shane Reed, Brandon Reynolds, Blaise Reynolds, and Chris Reed. Honorary pallbearers are Blake Reynolds and Blade Reynolds. Memorials may be made to the Harmony Cemetery Fund, 320 Harmony Baptist Church Rd, Louisville, MS 39339.
