Mr. Coley Chambliss, 64, died Friday, February 17, 2012, at Baptist Hospital East in Memphis, TN. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 19th, at Porter Funeral Home, with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Mr. Chambliss was born April 18, 1947, in Louisville, MS. He was a retired brakeman and conductor after 44 years with the railroad. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, the Louisville Country Club, and was an avid sportsman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joaquin Prisock and Audy Tines Chambliss; and a brother, Gibby Chambliss. He is survived by his wife, Polly Chambliss; two daughters, Klaye Chambliss of Brandon, MS, and Dedra (Brian) Parker of Brandon, MS; a son, Kyle (Melissa) Chambliss of Mandeville, LA; two sisters Judy (Larry) Mayo of Louisville, and Frances (Tony) Carr of Starkville; a brother, Robby (Janice) Chambliss of Louisville, MS; five grandchildren, Zach Parker, Austin Chambliss, Brody Burchfield, Bella Burchfield, and Coley Chambliss; and several nieces and nephews, Michael Chambliss, Grant Mayo, Hayden Carr, Corrin Taylor, Brittany Ridgway, Amy Miller, Russ Newman, and Ann N. Evans. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association .
