Dolores Donald Ray

Mrs. Dolores Donald Ray, 84, died Wednesday, January 11, 2011, at Winston Medical Center. Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 13th, at Porter Funeral Home , with Col. James T. Patterson and Rev. William Green officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will Friday from 10:00 A.M. until service time at Porter Funeral Home. Mrs. Ray was born April 29, 1927, in Louisville, MS . She is preceded in death by her husband, S. T. Ray; and her parents, Sammie Dell Wilson and Hugh Robert Donald. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Ray of Louisville; and Sandy Ray, and her husband, Col James T. Patterson, of Nashville, TN; a son, S. T. Ray, Jr., and his wife, Allyn, of Jackson, MS; two grandchildren, Emily Ray (Matt) Oswalt, and Douglas Ray; and two great grandchildren, Thomas Hewitt Oswalt and Andrew Alan Oswalt. Memorials may be made to the Louisville Animal Shelter.
