Arbie B. Wilson

Mr. Arbie Bennett Wilson, 90, died Sunday, December 11, 2011, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 13, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Wayne Hill and Rev. Rob Faulk officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Mr. Wilson was a retired mechanic, having worked for the Fair Company, T. H. Brown, and Sharp Construction. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Kemper County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Lucille Wilson, and a son, Kenneth Wilson. He is survived by a daughter, Mary Jo Woodward and husband, Charles, of Collinsville, MS; five sons, Robert Bennett Wilson and wife, Rita, of Louisville, Billy Ray Wilson and wife, Connie, of Louisville, Woodrow “Woody” Wilson and wife, Marie, of Starkville, Burbon Junior Wilson and wife, Connie of Pulaski, MS, and Ricky Wilson and wife, Jerry, of Louisville; 11 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Scotty Wilson, David Wilson, Randy Young, Richard Wilson, Brian Young, and Clint Quinn. Honorary pallbearers are Cully Hudspeth and Greg Wilson. Memorials may be made to French Camp Academy, One Fine Place, French Camp, MS, 39745.
