Mary Emily Majure

Mrs. Mary Emily Greenway Majure, 87, died Thursday, November 24, 2011, at Winston County Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 26th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Childs officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Majure was born December 13, 1923, in Farmerville, LA. She was a graduate of Mississippi College and was a retired school teacher from Louisville High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Walter Majure. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Kirby (Patricia) Majure of Scotland Neck, N.C., and Joseph Marc (Nancy) Majure of Durham, N.C.
