Evelyn T. Clower

Mrs. Evelyn Lucille Thomasson Clower, 82, of Pascagoula, MS, died Sunday, November 13, 2011, at George County Regional Hospital in Lucedale, MS. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 16th, at Bevil Hill United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mike Childs officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12 noon until service time at Bevill Hill Methodist Church. Mr. Clower was born June 3, 1929 in Sturgis, MS. She raised 5 children, and loved traveling and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert & Ina Thomasson of Sturgis, MS; her husbands, Kenneth Wood, and Robert Clower; a son, Donald Wood; and a brother, W. A. Thomasson. She is survived by four children, Larry K. Wood, Barbara Wood Bryant, Daniel (Suzanne) Wood, and David (Donna) Wood, all of Pascagoula, MS ; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
