Kathryn McKinley Haggard

Mrs. Kathryn McKinley Haggard, 87, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at Miss. Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 30th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerry Lundy and Rev. Mike Childs officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Mrs. Haggard was born October 30, 1923, in Choctaw County, MS. She was a homemaker, and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Haggard; and her parents, Myrtis Cummings and Emmett Carl McKinley. She is survived by one daughter, Marsha Gregory of Louisville; one son, Dale Haggard of Jackson, MS; a sister, Betty M. Morgan of West Point, MS; 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Anthony Morgan, Scott Smith, Stephen Smith, Hunter Sanders, Kevin Gregory, and Giles Ward. Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P. O.
