Mrs. Margie Hutton Miles, 88, died Monday, September 5, 2011, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 8th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Chris Vowell and Rev. Mike Dowd oofficiating. Interment will be in Middleton Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Mrs. Miles was born March 16, 1923, in Natchez, MS. She was a retired supervisor at Noxapater Glove Factory, and baked cakes for Sunflower and Piggly Wiggly. She was named Farmer of the Year in Winston County in 1975, and was a member of the Emmaus Community, having been on Walk # 248. She was a member of Middleton United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Miles; her parents, Allie and Jessie Hutton; a daughter, Rosemary Miles; a sister, Jessie Garrard; two brothers, Levi Hutton and Dickie Hutton; and two grandchildren, Kyle Holloway and Maddox Miles. She is survived by three daughters, Judy Taylor of Hattiesburg, MS, Marsha (Sam) Myers of Vancleave, MS, and Lisa (Barry) Holloway of Louisville, MS; two sons, Les (Sharron) Miles of Starkville, MS, and Denny (Jennifer) Miles of Louisville, MS; a sister, Frances Sullivan of Louisville, MS; a brother, Ellzey Hutton of Louisville, MS; nine grandchildren, Angie (Jesse) Lee, Kim (Jay) Walker, Chad Miles, Brandi (Clint) Avery, Lesley (Casey) Baker, Kelsey (Dave) Hardy, Josh (Emily) Miles, Brittany Miles, and Dusty Miles; and nine great grandchildren, Laken Sells, Tristin Lee, Colby Meyer, Jake Walker, Jacie Walker, Andrew Baker, Garrett Miles, Eli Miles, and Edie Miles. Pallbearers are Jesse Lee, Chad Miles, Casey Baker, Dusty Miles, Jess Brantley, and Luke Parkes.
