James Everette Hunt

Mr. James Everette Hunt, 62, died Monday, August 22, 2011 at the University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 25th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Billy Higginbotham officiating. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Mr. Hunt was born November 30, 1948, in Louisville, MS. He was a millwright with Georgia Pacific and PCA. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Everette Hunt. He is survived by his wife, Ethel White Hunt of Louisville; his mother, Helen Hunt of Louisville two daughters, Tammy Hunt Holton and Candace Hunt, both of Louisville; a brother, Richard (Brenda) Hunt of Louisville; and four grandchildren, Kristen Thrash, Stephanie Thrash, Channing Smiley, and Demarrius Miller. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Liver Foundation.
