.Funeral services for Glynda Eaves Woodruff, 69, will be held Thursday, August 4, 2011, at Porter Funeral Home in Louisville with Bro. Charles Rook, Bro. Tim Smith, and Bro. Mark Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in Enon Baptist Church cemetery. Mrs. Woodruff died at home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by parents, Autence and Harvey Eaves; sisters Barbara Kelley and Dot Nance; and brother, Garland Eaves. She and her husband owned and operated a cash register business with offices in Jackson and Natchez for many years before retiring and moving back to Louisville. She was known for her hospitality and selfless devotion to her family. She, along with her sister, Betty Hatcher, led a crafts class for residents at the Winston County Nursing Home for several years until her health forced her to discontinue. She was a preschool Sunday School teacher for many years, as well. She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Ron Woodruff, of Louisville; daughters, Rhonda (Tony) Fulton, of Louisville and Marinda (Rinny) Woodruff, of New Orleans; sister, Betty Hatcher, of Louisville; brothers, Garvis Eaves, of Maryville, TN and Jimmy Eaves, of Rose Hill; and two grandsons, whom she loved dearly, Brandon Fulton, of Flowood, and Grant Fulton, of Louisville. Pallbearers are Brandon Fulton, Grant Fulton, Neil Snow, David Thompson, Chris Eaves, and Hiram Eaves. Honorary pallbearers are Gabe Snow, Russ Woodruff, Joey Yarbrough, Paul Nance, and David Ray Thompson. Memorials may be made to Enon Baptist Church.
