Dorothy Kerr

Mrs. Dorothy Ann Kerr, 70, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 11th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Tim Black and Rev. William Bouchillon officiating. Interment will be in Hopewell Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Kerr was born July 12, 1940, in Winston County, MS. She was a homemaker and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Davis Kerr; and her parents, Marion Smith and A.Z. Wylie. She is survived by a son, M.D. Kerr of McCool, MS; two daughters, Deborah Ann Kerr Anazon of Wichita Falls, TX, and Betty Louise Smith of Quanah, TX; two grandchildren, Kayla Hope Kerr and Joshua Blake Smith; and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jim Eaves, Cory Cain, Joshua Smith, William Young, Joe Cooper, and Hubert Smith. Memorials may be made to The Hopewell Cemetery Fund.
