Mr. Lester Harrell Hare, 71, died Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 16th, at Campground United Methodist Church, with Rev. Larry Haggard and Rev. Scarlett Shepperd officiating. Interment will be in Campground Cemetery. Visitation will be at Campground United Methodist Church from 10:00 AM Monday until service time. Mr. Hare was born February 16, 1940. He was a member of Campground United Methodist Church, and spent his working career as a logger and a machine operator/driver. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maggie Lois and Majoe Lee Hare; a brother, Lavon Hare, and a sister, Evelyn Louise Hare. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara; his daughters, Debra Hare, Angie (Bubba) Robinson, and Tammy (Larry) Burton; six grandchildren, Sammy Robinson, Christopher Robinson, Kayla Robinson, Jessica Burton, Hunter Burton, and Hailey Burton; and two sisters, Dorothy Rodgers and Patsy Thrash. Pallbearers were Larry Waddell, Jackie Holdiness, Richard Smith, Joe Smith, Scotty Smith, and Virgil Rodgers.
