Henry Horace Rhodes

Mr. Henry Horace Rhodes, 56, died Monday, May 9, 2011, in Winston County. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 12th, at Porter Funeral Home, with interment in Noxubee Hill Cemetery. Mr. Rhodes was born February 13, 1955, in Winston County. He was a graduate of Winston Academy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mae Belle Shumaker and William Tully “Bill” Rhodes; and a step-daughter, Angie Albright. He is survived by his wife, Freda Holton Rhodes of Louisville; a step-son, Lee Orr of Louisiana; a brother, Harold Gordon of Louisville; a step-granddaughter, Shelley Booth; and two nephews, Brian Gordon and Neil Gordon. Pallbearers are Neil Gordon, Brian Gordon, David Hegwood, Kenneth Perry, Tommy Langford, Ronald Toussaint, Tommy Terry, and Sam Langford. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Haimes, the members of Gum Branch Hunting Club, and Sherman Road Hunting Club. Memorials may be made to the Noxubee Hill Cemetery Fund.
