Mrs. Margaret Frazier Cunningham, 95, died Sunday, April 17, 2011, at Winston County Nursing Home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 20th, at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Cunningham was born January 28, 1916, and was a lifelong resident of Winston County. She was a member of West Union Presbyterian Church. She will be remembered as the ultimate homemaker, who devoted her life to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Cunningham, her son, Stanley Cunningham, her parents, Ruby and Milton Frazier, and four sisters, Dorothy Liber, Naomi Bilbro, Shirley Baird, and Joan Thaggard. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Byrne and husband, Tim, of Jackson; Madalyn Hindman and husband, Steve, of Jackson; Janice Atkinson and husband, Bobby, of Starkville; and Lisa Speier and husband, Trent, of Littleton, CO; a son, Douglas Cunningham, and wife, Allen, of Jackson; daughter-in-law, Julie Cunningham of Louisville; brother, a brother, Oran Frazier of Louisville; a sister, Barbara Nemitz of Pascagoula, MS; 10 grandchildren, Dr. Michael Byrne, Courtney Byrne Maroun, Tracy Hindman, Douglas Hunter Hindman, Dr. Bradley Atkinson, Mary Atkinson Smith, Katy Cunningham Miller, Emily Cunningham, Philip Cunningham, and Anna Schellbarn; and 6 great grandchildren. The family thanks Evelyn Mays, the staff of the Winston County Nursing Home, and Quality Hospice for their compassion and care of their mother.
