Thomas Long

Mr. Thomas Aaron Long, 77, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at his home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 3rd, at Porter Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Lundy officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Long was born May 19, 1933, in Winston County. He was a retired assembler for Taylor Machine Works for 30 years, and attended Harmony Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Oscar Long and Mary McBrayer. He is survived by his wife, Frances McKay Long; 3 sons, Terry Long, Jeff Long, and Bill Long, all of Louisville; 3 sisters, Barbara Hindman of Louisville, Jenny Eaves of Louisville, and Judy Coward of Noxapater; and 4 brothers, Peter Long of Louisville, Jack Long of Houston, TX, Ronnie Long of Noxapater, and Donnie Long of Noxapater.
