Anita Pat Smith

Mrs. Anita Pat Smith, 71, died Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 17th at 3:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Hilton Moore, Rev. Trent Jaudon, and Rev. Matt Moehring officiating. Interment will be in Leake Memorial Cemetery in Leake County. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith was born August 30th, 1940, in Marietta, OK. She worked in retail sales in Louisville at WalMart, and Bulldog Cleaners, and also worked at the Winston County Library. She was a member of Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Dewitt Smith of Louisville; three daughters, Charlotte (J.L.) Hamrick of New Orleans, LA, Vicki (Michael) Chambliss, and Mandy (Ken) Mills, both of Louisville; two sisters, Helen Allison of Roswell, NM, and Linda Stone of Dallas, TX; one brother, Alf Walker of Dallas, TX; and five grandchildren, Justin (Jaimee) Childs, Madison Mills, Jordan Chambliss, Raegan Chambliss, and Collin Mills.

Pallbearers will be Woody Allison, Rodney Allison, Judy Eaves, Rush Callahan, Clayton Smith, and Bo Smith.
